Those guys are the troops on the ground and my role was to support, schedule, and coordinate their daily activities. Put simply: pulling fires off and serving with a smile.In 2018 months we managed to increase profits by 17% and achieved project install early completions by 27%. Prestress Services Industries was a business acumen formative experience. As I was working directly for the VP of Sales - best leader I have ever encountered (keeping in mind I was in the military) and even better friend. I learned how and why executive decision are made. I was in charge of estimating the cost of bridge construction from materials, labor, all the way to logistics.We managed to bring the company from a small size to a medium size during the economic crisis of 2008. This to personal fulfillment as no one got lay-off during such harsh times. Record sales for the company and the improvement of the US infrastructure by means of aggressive cost control, materials negotiations, and relation building with all stake holders.
