Transitioned from WYG International Development Business to Tetra Tech International Development from July 2019Tetra Tech Project Director on the Building Opportunities for Resilience in the Horn of Africa (BORESHA) funded by the European Union. The programme funded promoting local economic development and greater resilience among vulnerable groups in the Cross-Border area of Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia, implementing private sector development,grant programe for small to medium businesses and business skills development. Directed the team leader, task leads and 20 team members in the implementation and completion of project deliverables to meet log-frame targets. Other partners on the project include Danish Refugee Council (DRC), CARE and World Vision.

Worked in the role of Project Director on a portfolio of projects within the Climate Resilient Infrastructure Development Facility (CRIDF) based in South Africa. CRIDF worked in 11 mainland SADC countries, focussed on delivering infrastructure in 13 transboundary basins, and highlighting the benefits that emerge from cross border cooperation.At CRIDF my role focuses on technical delivery, quality assurance, project and programme management, developing relationships within the River Basin Organisations and other key stakeholders in Southern Africa and developing projects from a pilot phase to a transboundary approach.In my WYG role I assisted and support business development initiatives in the region.

My responsibilities at Jacobs included having the role of project manager and technical reviewer on small to large scale water sector projects. From 1997 to 2000 I was based in South Africa delivering water resources and water supply projects on government funded projects. this also included projects within Lesotho and Mozambique.2001 to 2004 delivered water supply master planning projects in Botswana for the Water Utilities Corporation for the cities of Francistown and Selebi Pikwe, based in Gaborone.From 2005 to 2014 my focus was mainly on implementation of UK flood defence schemes from feasibility to construction, wetland scheme projects and water resource management plans for water companies. Main clients were the Environment Agency, Thames Water, South East Water and Southern Water.
