I've been producing Electronic Music since 2009 back when my guitar tutor showed me Cubase LE. After playing Classical Acoustic and Electric Guitar since around 10 years old it seemed like a new challenge and I was addicted. After trying to teach myself I went and studied at Manchester Midischool back in 2011 whilst completing my A-Levels and got the grades to study at Leeds College of Music. Whilst studying for my A-Levels I created a Youtube channel called MrJonnyBatch where I would upload my tracks and then I eventually started to record my best clips from playing online games such as Call of Duty and sync the videos to music, which eventually lead me into learning how to create 3D animations that I would use for intros or matchmove/ camera track them into the gameplay. During my second year I won a competition to create a samplepack for Prime Loops and from that applied to create samplepacks for other companies such as Samplephonics, where I create multiple packs and still create samplepacks for them today.I graduated Leeds College of Music with a first class honours BA degree in Music Production and a lot more knowledge and experience. I then returned back to Manchester Midischool in 2015 to work on tech support eventually working my way up to become tech support manager. I also took on my first teaching position as the Logic Pro X tutor at the school. From there I gained more experience teaching and eventually became a Complete Music Production Course lecturer in June 2021 and in September 2021 I started teaching the Foundation Degree course too. At the same time in July 2021 I was also promoted to Faculty Manager, where I organise the tutors and the courses, manage the school facilities, booking systems and online learning portal. I still create music in my spare time and have started to move into coding my own plugins using Max MSP and Max for Live. I still have a passion for gaming but I haven't recorded and edited any gameplay in a while.
