About Jonathan Baughen
My name is Jonathan Baughen I am a Computer Science graduate specializing in programming.Currently using API's to interface between call centre software and IM systems, using Node to create web based solutions, Java to communicate with call centre management systems. Been heavily involved in Cisco systems and using all their new technology to create custom solutions to meet customer needs. It takes a lot of imagination to see how they can be used and benefit our customers. Things are moving very fast which means lots of learning and makes things very exciting.The previous 7 years working in my company I have managed, setup, coded and analysed data management systems on a SQL, Access, SPF and SharePoint platforms using C#, JavaScript, Java, SQL and Visual Basic programming languages as part of a team and individually. The analytical and problem solving skills gained from this experience have been put to use creating BPMN Business Processes using BPMN knowledge gained from studying in my own time and from people at work. I know how to manage and map process flows and data, to turn it into clear and concise information which is true to its source data.

During my time at Kytec I've learn't how to script in UCCX and Cisco Unified Call Centre and build custom elements for both systems. I've used Node to intergrate with Databases and customer systems and intergrate with finesse gadgets. I've used finesse API's, Webex Teams API's and Jabber API's to create custom programs and gadgets. Used post requests to Node and customer systems to create custom solutions and used JTAPI to create cutom behaviours for customers. I've created custom reports using SQL and informix SQL in Cisco's Unified Intelligence Center.

Working on the companies Global Electronic Management System has required analysing the system to expose its strengths and weakness, identify possible risks and report to management what the system is capable of in order to design a system that meets the requirements of the organisation. The system is built in SharePoint 2013 this has meant using and configuring SharePoint 2013 servers and systems. There was also a requirement to build event handlers in C#, Powershell scripts and JavaScript web parts to meet the requirements laid out for the system.The BA role has introduced the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) flow diagrams a new industry standard model. With this new standard there has been a requirement to convert older models into the new format and create new models from Microsoft Word documents. This is all done in Micrsoft Visio. The completed BPMN models are then loaded into IServer. It has been a challenging role as everyone is new to this standard and had to learn from the documentation.
