As the Assistant General Manager of Cypress Station Grill, I worked closely with the General Manager to ensure that the restaurant ran smoothly. My main priorities during this time were ensuring that we were staffed for both front and back of house, managing those employees during their shift, and interacting with customers throughout the day. I also worked closely with the kitchen and assisted the chef when needed. • Coordinated with the General Manager to ensure staffing was full. • Conducted interviews and trained all new hires. • Worked closely with the back of house manager to complete inventory and develop new recipes and ideas to attract a wide variety of customers.• Prepped and worked as an expeditor in times when we were short staffed.• Involved with the bar menu updates, creating new recipes and researching the most popular bar drinks and glassware. • Enforced all rules and regulations as required by Texas Health Codes and company policy.• Created and implemented documentation procedures for violations of company policy. • Handled all of the repairs and maintenance, this includes scheduling services as well as completing many of the tasks myself.
