As an IT professional with 12 years of experience, for the past nine years, I have served in positions supporting the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID), in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In 2012, I was promoted from serving as the CID’s 10th MP Battalion Computer Support Specialist, to the position of Digital Forensic Examiner / Federal Agent, at Fort Bragg—where I successfully conducted digital investigations for five years while working with large and small scale cases and investigations.Transferred to Germany in 2016, I now support the U.S. Army CID 5th MP Battalion, in the same role. Over the past nine years, with a 90% solve rate, I have planned and performed 45+ digital forensics examinations, including 100+ pieces of evidence totaling 32,000 gigabytes of data. With Top Secret Security Clearance, my work involves examining numerous forms of digital equipment and mobile technology. I process and prepare investigatory results for felony-level crimes, interpret findings to attorneys and senior leaders, and provide expert witness testimony during criminal trials. As technology continues to evolve, the challenges of data gathering are becoming more complex. For this reason, I take advantage of training designed to gain the knowledge, skills, and technology I need to keep pace with rapid IT changes that can inhibit the gathering of digital evidence. With a solid background in training and guiding Special Agents and investigative teams in all aspects of computer crime investigations, I hold a B.S. in Technology Support & Training Management, plus numerous certifications, including: DoD Certified Digital Forensic Examiner, DoD Certified Media Collector, JTAG & Chip-Off Certifications, and CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ Certifications. If you’d like to learn more about my work or my background, contact me through this profile. I enjoy making new business acquaintances, and I would like to hear from you.
