I’ve joined PowerToFly, a 360 degree diversity solution and the leading international diversity platform, as a virtual event speaker, hosting ongoing talks and workshops. PowerToFly’s mission is to fast-track economic equity by upskilling and connecting underrepresented talent to roles in highly visible sectors, and providing tools and support for them to thrive. PowerToFly recently received over $30M in funding that will aid them on their journey to becoming a truly end-to-end Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) recruiting and retention platform.

Internal Communication- Developed communication strategy and designed communication structure and profile for the year 2019/2020. Currently leading the implementation of Pangea Accelerator's communication strategy.External Communication- Storytelling: documenting and generating content to tell Pangea's story and the startups in the program. This is achieved through; a weekly blog post, quarter newsletter, media features including print and television appearances.- Event planning and coordination: Events done so far are - Hackathon II, Meet the Corporates I, Mentor's Circle & Selection and Pitching- Content management: Social media management of Pangea Accelerator's Facebook, Twitter, Medium, Instagram and LinkedIn - Partnerships: facilitating development of partnerships with key partners and the startup ecosystem through networking forums, exploring opportunities to exhibit or join interactive panel discussions and also collaborating with the startup ecosystem.-Community building: Engaging with Pangea Accelerator's community and positioning Pangea Accelerator as a thought leader.- Press: monitoring press stories,providing press releases and material to media houses. Planning and organizing opportunities to get media coverage for Pangea Accelerator and the startups in the current cohort.-Management and Leadership: Managing the Communication team and coordinating with external media suppliers including photographers, videographers etc.
