I’ve recently joined Fudge Park Productions as Managing Director, the award winning scripted television & feature film production company, founded by Damon Beesley & Iain Morris, writers and creators of The Inbetweeners (Channel 4/ FilmFour), White Gold (BBC/ Netflix) and upcoming Time Bandits (Apple TV+), and producers of Ill Behaviour (BBC/ Showtime), Count Abdulla (ITVX), The Festival (FilmFour) and upcoming Daddy Issues (BBC).Prior to this I had spent a decade at BBC Studios & BBC Worldwide heading up Comedy & Scripted, where I had a BBC CPF job title of Commissioning Editor Drama. I was charged with attracting the best creative ideas, supporting the best writing and production talent, in order to deliver world class content to match the demands of the regional businesses across all media.I was responsible for driving the organisations growth targets, with shows backed including Ghosts (BBC/ CBS), Am I Being Unreasonable? (BBC/ Hulu), The Outlaws (BBC/ Amazon), I May Destroy You (BBC/ HBO), The Wrong Mans (BBC/ Hulu), Trying (Apple TV+), Good Omens (Amazon), Lovesick (Netflix), and talent deals including Jamie Demetriou, Diane Morgan, Nick Mohammed.I also represented BBC Studios interests as Board Director at Various Artists Ltd and Baby Cow Productions, and was a member of the BBC’s Global Leadership Group.Previous to this, I was Head of Independents at 2 entertain (the joint venture between BBC Worldwide & Woolworths Group PLC) and was in charge of the acquisition and publishing strategy for all independently produced television programmes, feature film and stand up comedy. Key content I oversaw included Gavin & Stacey, An Idiot Abroad, Sherlock, Wallander, The Peaky Blinders, Becoming Jane, Brideshead Revisited, John Bishop specials.Before this I worked in a variety of management roles at 2 entertain & BBC Worldwide including acquisitions, international sales and publishing, having started my career as a graduate trainee at Explore International (the joint venture between Canal+, Turner & National Geographic).I’m a BSc Honours graduate in Technology Management, and following these studies spent a year travelling around the world which included a BUNAC internship at the Newfound Harbor Marine Institute in the Florida Keys.
