Conduct chemical and fertilizer sales throughout Zimbabwe. This involves but not limited to: consultation with growers, assessment of grower challenges, soil sampling, recommendations, product marketing, product performance assessment, product R&D and grower account management.

-Manage four agronomy technical teams (24 staff) over two fully irrigated sugar estates (8700ha total); in-field soil, tissue and water sampling, pest and disease monitoring, agronomic data collection, mechanical harvester losses and diagnostics. -Export of samples for analysis.-Analyse and interpret data to forecast management strategies, inputs, production outputs and budgets.-Manage aerial spraying team composed of light aircraft and ground crews. -Maintain dialogue with research institutes for latest information to optimize production. -Provide technical support and training to agricultural staff.-Irrigation scheduling. Familiar with furrow, sprinkler and pivot irrigation systems.

-Managed fertilizer sales for Southern Province of Zambia and conducted farm visits consulting growers, soliciting new business and maintaining relationships.-Developed custom nutritional programs for clients on irrigated and dryland crops including tobacco, soya, maize, wheat, barley, seed maize, carrots and peanuts. -Utilized Excel-based program to develop custom-blended fertilizers for clients.-Facilitated and attended field days/discussion groups for commercial and small-scale growers.-Worked closely with agro-chemical companies to develop application strategies of specialty foliar-applied products to reduce grower operational costs.-Acted as interim Operations Manager at Mazabuka and Dar es Salaam factories.

-Conducted field registration and laboratory virulence trials on entomopathogens of Eldana saccharina.-Managed field technical teams to conduct field trials in different cane-growing areas of the KwaZulu-Natal sugar industry.-Conducted laboratory trials to assess the virulence of pathogens towards Eldana and other insect hosts.
