We supplied EHS services to over 140 private, public and/or governmental entities, including Defense Contractors (munitions and aerospace), Public Utilities (wastewater treatment plants and coal fired power plants), Fortune 500 Companies ( GE, TYCO, Sun Chemical, ex.) And Small Businesses (like plating, industrial painting, automotive painting and repair facilities, apartment complexes, and ex.) Responsibilities included environmental compliance, negotiation and interpretation of the regulations as they applied to their operations. Remediation system designs and operations for soil and ground water contamination, covering several different analytical streams, company employment policies, health & safety programs, waste minimization programs, confined space entry programs, tank cleanings, water blasting operations, air permitting, wastewater discharge permitting, waste water treatment system designs and the transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

Responsible for all environmental, health & safety programs for several DOD munitions manufacturing locations, including permitting, consent orders, phase I, phase II, phase III, PCAP’s, PCAR’s, CAP’s, CAR’s, RAP’s RAR’s, NFA negotiations, explosive users licensing, explosive storage licensing through ATF, environmental litigation, demilitarization designs for conventional and non-conventional munitions, Title V permitting, waste water permitting, wastewater treatment system design and permitting, workers compensation, responsible for facility’s relocations and set-up. Responsible for a broad range of inspections, evaluations and training functions in support of the environmental, health & safety programs, including fire safety, hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling and environmental standards compliance programs for more than 18,000 GE employees, located at 22 different locations. Conducted on-site inspections of facility operations to monitor, troubleshoot and upgrade E.H.S. programs. Responded to and investigate all emergencies. Extensive involvement in the design, set-up & training of chemical response teams, structural fire fighting teams & medical response teams. Held a DOD security clearance.

Successfully completed required law enforcement, marine firefighting, emergency medical technician, marine navigation training schools and assignments, search & rescue qualified, rescue swimmer qualified. Heavy seas school, Honorably Discharged.
