As a Deputy Sheriff for Clay County Sheriff's Office, I was responsible for completing police reports, determining evidentiary value in accordance with Florida State Statute, and responding to calls for service. Some of the requirements in order to be a good police officer were attention to detail, good officer safety, and accurate documentation of all factual information. Documenting criminal evidence on a chain of custody form was also part of standard responsibilities.

As a field radio operator in the USMC, my duties and responsibilities to keep was to relay sensitive communications to a local headquarters. Field Radio Operators are also charged with ensuring the safety of the team, reporting any casualties or need to know intelligence and providing maintenance on the equipment that failed to function properly. The duties and responsibilities associated with this position required a DOD secret clearance.
