As the Account Development Manager at the National Press Club, I worked with the thousands of organizations and members that had utilized the Club over the past 100+ years. I was a key component of the team that brought organizations in to enjoy the restaurant, live event spaces, and broadcast operations studio.

I was promoted to a Senior Business Development Manager role in July of 2017. In addition to the previous responsibilities as a Business Development Manager, I began to oversee the Vanpool Connect grant program and one employee, the Business Development Manager of Vanpool Services. I was appointed as the new Public Policy Representative of the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) - Chesapeake Chapter in October of 2017. In the role, I monitored tax and transportation policies that impact clients and partner organizations and kept the board informed with detailed outlines and summaries. I also attended the annual legislative summit where we talked to members of Congress about ACT's priorities to further the role of transportation demand management nationwide.

As the Business Development Manager, I worked on the Arlington Transportation Partners program to prospect potential participants and maintain relationships with over 250 companies to increase sustainable transportation utilization in Arlington County, Virginia. I, along with my colleagues, developed and cultivated relationships with the Arlington business community to implement programs and incentives that collectively remove more than 40,000 cars from the DC region’s traffic on a daily basis.I regularly conducted presentations and training sessions focusing on transportation benefits, information, and policies to make sure businesses and their employees are up to date on current standards. Between 2017 and 2018 I hosted 26 separate one-hour presentations for one client alone. I also presented data and accomplishments annually at the Association for Commuter Transportation's International Conference.Internally, I tracked work and clients with an internal database to ensure proper management. I assisted with the writing of blogs, materials, and guides to promote our services. I drafted tweets and other social media information as needed.

As the Data Services Manager, I assisted the Data Services Director in managing a distribution structure that sent out millions of dollars in donations to nearly a thousand different non-profit health charities. I ensured accurate financial and electronic data through intensive review of checks, paper records, and our CRM database. Utilized as a Microsoft Excel expert within the office, I led the implementation of a brand new distribution software that created monthly dynamic reporting for member charities. The custom reporting created between 500 and 800 custom reports each month for the benefit of member organizations.

I moved to Toronto, Ontario on a temporary work visa to garner international work experience and see a new city. I was hired for a temporary position at Mackenzie Investments to assist the Facilities Department with a move of nearly 600 employees between two major buildings.One task included ensuring employee's belongings, work items, and computers made it to the correct new location in a timely manner. Reviewed floor plans for inaccuracies as needed and worked on employee manuals for future incoming staff. Monitored and resolved hundreds of work orders each week that pertained to facilities maintenance and upkeep.
