Recent MS Human Resources and Management graduate from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville with three years of experience in the human resources field. During my previous tenure at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, I had established myself in the entrepreneurial society through fundraising for the nonprofit, the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center, and raised nearly 400 dollars in one month of opening the campaign. Additionally, while studying in my full-time master's program at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, I also was employed full-time with Aleut Federal, where I was able to apply my knowledge from the classroom to my position. I have also experienced working within various corporations such as through my internship with Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Incorporated. I learned about the varying duties within the finance sector as my duties entailed hiring financial and accounting associates. I utilized the HRIS system to track applicants and also scheduled drug screens, background checks, and assisted with ensuring onboarding forms were delivered to applicants. I also reviewed applicant resumes to ensure that they met the requirements of the position. Ultimately, my goal was to ensure that the candidate could apply with ease to positions within the organization. With my previous experiences and current academic pursuit within the human resources field, I hope to work within a human resources department that allows me to develop their organizational structure and increase productivity in the future.
