Work closely with event planners and meeting organizers to ensure that event programs function flawlessly. Supervise the operation of all recreation and activities at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Coordinate with sales, catering, and other resort departments to deliver comprehensive event solutions. Oversee event planning and logistics for corporate groups, ensuring tailored experiences that meet client goals and exceed expectations. Monitor financials daily for assigned business units while maintaining a long-term outlook on annual and long-term goals. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports examining variances and looking at new revenue streams to ensure more profitable results. Oversee and manage employees over a number of different outlets.

Oversee the largest Sportfishing tournament on the Gulf Coast with a prize purse of over $2 million, annually. Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic, ensuring a world-class experience for participants, sponsors, and spectators. Cultivate relationships with corporate sponsors and partners, driving revenue and delivering value through tailored sponsorship packages. Manage tournament logistics, including registration, scheduling, safety protocols, and weigh-ins. Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive participant engagement and grow the tournament’s profile as a premier fishing event. Collaborate with sponsors, vendors, and local businesses to enhance the event’s prestige and economic impact on the community.

Oversee all chapter operations and communicate with University Executives. Manage day-to-day task including chapter finances, community and university tasks involving all 250 active members, and philanthropical events. Acquaint all officers with the extent and importance of their duties, delegate authority and responsibility to these officers, and ensure these duties and responsibilities are carried out. Maintain a close relationship with university administrators and with officers of other campus Greek-letter organizations. See that chapter administrative affairs are handled promptly and that orderly chapter administrative files are maintained. Maintain and strengthen the chapter’s activities, accomplishments, and proficiency in all internal and external areas. Maintain high standards of chapter scholarship, discipline, etiquette, morals and hospitality.

Assist in the development and implementation of the chapter’s safety/risk management program. Coordinate the risk management education of members, pledges and employees, and assists other officers in incorporating safety and risk management-related precautions into their programs. With the help of the house corporation, Chapter Advisor, Executive Committee, officers and members, address concerns related to building maintenance, safety, fire, health, the use of alcohol or illegal drugs, hazing or sexual abuse.

Coordinate chapter efforts regarding cleanliness, safety, care and maintenance of the chapter house. Work closely with the Chapter President and Chapter Advisors to ensure that all safety measures are in order.
