In this role, my responsibilities included facilitating communications between my team of three Stock Controllers and the Administration Team's regarding any stock shortages, damages, deliveries and stock checks, ensuring that at all times the Stock Control Team are updating all clients accordingly.Duties also included creation of a monthly Stock Control KPI pack which would outline all pick figures, cycle counts, operative efficiency and updates on our SUSPENSE account per client. This would then be presented to all Contract Managers with a detail investigation/solution.I would also work closely with the IT department to look for continuous improvements for the client and also gather requirements from the clients for any bespoke reports, improvements or solutions, tailored their business needs.

In this role, my responsibilities included accurately counting and stock checking locations in all three warehouses, ensuring any discrepancies are corrected and logged for further investigations and reporting my findings in accordance to the contracted KPIs, assisting the operation with damaged stock quires and any general stock related issues. My duties also included resolving customer queries via telephone or e-mail, identifying issues with the WMS system and working with the IT department to resolve and implement any solutions or continuous improvement changes.

In this role, i was responsible for chairing and facilitating a group of volunteers working within PD Ports Felixstowe, where we discussed continuous improvement suggestions in aid to improve the Health & Safety on site, review any incidents with the Senior Management Team and offer our suggestions in regards to Health & Safety.Quarterly each year, i would be responsible for traveling to our head office in Middlesbrough to present any Health & Safety improvements we have completed or any suggestions passed on to us for our group to review. These improvements and suggestions would be shared with the wider business to then be discussed and reviewed as a buisness.

In this role, my responsibilities included capturing accurate and detailed descriptions of the step by step procedure of every task undertaken within the operational and administrative sector of the business. These descriptions would then be created and presented within Microsoft Visio and once completed, schedule review meetings to ensure all senior members of the management team agreed and approved of the proposed process. I would then ensure the process was agreed, trained out and understood by all operational and administrative employees.

In this role, my responsibilities included the safe operation of all mechanical handling equipment under my control, general warehouse operative tasks and to ensure all goods received and dispatched under my control was accurate in accordance to the Warehouse Management System, as well as physically.
