GridSearch is a visual video search technology that is ideal for cloud-based VOD systems. Uniquely it doesn’t mimic spooling through magnetic tape as the user fast forwards through their video. It was selected by the organisers of CES in Las Vegas as a finalist in their global innovation contest.I am looking to partner with forward-looking companies in the OTT, cable/satellite TV, telco-TV, CCTV, video player, set-top box industry who are looking to improve their customers' user-experience and to reduce customer churn. GridSearch is a very effective tool for allowing the user to search through their available video content.After inventing GridSearch I guided the project through the patent process (gaining granted patents in the US, Europe, China, Japan, South Korea, India, Canada and Australia), then had the software (SDK) written in iOS and tvOS, so that we can port the functionality into the products of partner companies. I am looking to get the SDK completed in Android and HTML5/JavaScript.Prior to the invention of GridSearch I worked as a Chassis Engineer within the motor industry (primarily on Jaguar Land Rover vehicles).
