Jonathan loves Product Design winning The Guardian Creative Midlands Award 1999 pioneering web content and was a live televised finalist. He won a BECTA Award was invited to Downing Street in 2002.Jonathan has written for the press and numerous publications. Work with the TES, Guardian established relationships that exist today. As a regular BETT Show contributor he worked closely with Merlin John.An eight year Gatsby Fellowship was awarded in 1999. He was a trainer in ArtCAM and ProDesktop. Over 12000 CAD CAM Cookies resources were distributed by the Design and Technology Association.Russian colleagues have visited Jonathan from schools and Universities for sixteen years. The Russian Ministry toured Jonathan at venues in Samara and Moscow to embed ArtCAM. His ArtCAM Russian Olympiad videos were used by students to compete across Russia.Jonathan has worked with Techsmith to shape online video capture for teachers using Camtasia. Software work includes Daydream, Birchfield and SSS Learning. He developed a software concept for auditing PSHE, Citizenship, Behaviour and Welfare in November 2016.He worked on a television series with Ten Alps, reviewing DT resources on Resource Review and co-presented a webinar on laser technologies with Technology Supplies Limited.He was challenged to design a mathematics robot using a Wi-Fi based module provided to him. Using only 2D Design Tools software a fully functioning maths robot was manufactured with an innovative pen lift system.He continues to design products for the real world. His latest exciting product design is subject to a non-disclosure agreement and could be really useful in the future after many years of work in the background!In 2017 Jonathan was invited to give a keynote presentation on Creativity in Design & Technology at the International STEM Conference in Dubai 2017. The world of 3D designing and printing has been firmly embedded in his work with students. Still pushing the boundaries forward.
