Factory Shift Manager
Current- Responsible for leading a team of approximately 60 operatives.- Required to protect the health and safety of all shift employees through instituting and adherence to site safety culture. -Responsible for managing grievance and disciplinary issues as required with the support ofHR as necessary.- Manage on-going performance of direct reports.-Responsible for striving to continuously improve standards set by executing Practical Problem Solving, 5S and other lean tools. Champion use of lean tools and support others to use lean standards.-Manage process reliability by monitoring & looking to improve OEE through working closely with the engineering team. Identifying bottlenecks within the process, reporting and then conducting problem solving methods with relevant teams.- Responsible for the analysis and reporting of conversion performance metrics through analysis of Key Performance Data, identify performance gaps, trends and improvement opportunities and communicate internally using visual management in cockpit areas.
