In addition to the responsibilities described under the previous position of Assistant General Manager, I sup-port the Walmart National Network and Ambient Supply Chain with various End-to-End projects. These include P&L, data capture and visualization of top loss. In addition, I work to establish and foster productive relation-ships between various internal networks and facilities.

Supervised and responsible for the operations of an Import Distribution Center campus consisting of two buildings totaling 3.35 million square feet. The operation has a Storage and a Flow cross dock facility with 277 dock doors total that services upwards of 600 Stores and Fulfillment Centers. The campus averages 6 million cases shipped on a monthly basis. The campus headcount includes as many as 1,200 hourly associates and 70 salaried direct reports. In addition, I have responsibility for the operation of an 874,000 square feet, Non-Sortable Fulfilment Center, totaling 78 dock doors.

Manages multiple projects by defining the scope of work and project objectives; establishing project activities, deliverables, milestones, and timelines; coordinating planning activities and assembling management plans; tracking changes to plans and ensuring resolution of critical issues; managing the governance of project plans; identifying resources needed for project completion; monitoring budgets and costs for projects; and delivering presentations, status reports, and other project documentation to stakeholders at regular intervals . Manages content management initiatives by evaluating and prioritizing content requests; designing, developing, automating, and maintaining tools, templates, and resources; providing guidance to team on platform functionality, communication approaches, and content quality standards; ensuring content and digital communications methods align with content governance standards; auditing and tracking content variables; and adapting content and digital communication methods to resolve audit concerns. Manages processes and procedures for areas of responsibility by analyzing data in order to identify existing standards, processes, governance, and workflows; evaluating key business components in order to assess current performance baselines; identifying areas of improvements; editing existing processes and developing improvement solutions; ensuring program processes are simple and executable with manageable rollout plans; consulting with cross-functional teams to get alignment on improvement solutions; ensuring processes are sustainable for future use; and communicating changes and solutions to key stakeholders in order to get buy-in and drive behavior change. Manages behavior change and process improvement programs by evaluating and determining change and improvement needs; partnering with cross-functional teams to develop the operational strategies.

Translates updated work standards with facility through a strategic business partnership with facility leadership. Tracks newly implemented business process with exit strategies. Communicates project updates and timelines to facility leadership. Provides data and consultation for facility leadership development of action items for critical failures and losses. Monitors successful completion of training through collaborative assessments. Leverages leading/lagging indicators to evaluate and communicate change adoption. Supervises process audits, collaborative assessments, and communicates status reporting for audit and assessment results. Assists in building standardized approaches to change management, project implementation, and execution. Responsible for a culture of Continuous Skills Development. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices

Supervised up to 120 associates which included up to 7 salaried direct reports. Was accountable for Flow/Inbound operations (case unloading, pallet movement, storage receiving, flow loading/unloading) and supports Outbound (case loading/shipping, order fulfillment), Quality Assurance, Asset Protection, and Maintenance operations. Frequently operated as the single Operations Manager on shift and personally supervises the entirety of the 3.3 million square foot facility. Introduced KPI process which has consistently improved performance to plan and cost savings on a weekly basis.

Supervised up to 60 associates and was accountable for Inbound Receiving operations. My team was entirely new due to Walmart taking over a 3rd party operation and I personally was involved in the hiring and ongoing functional training of each associate. Trained associates on LEAN and Six Sigma principles along with cross-training with Flow unloading, QA and MCO research and problem solving. Helped reduce Container on Yard count from over 1000 to less than 100 on a daily basis through improvements with unloading efficiency.

Supervised and was responsible for 400+ associates which included 14 salaried direct reports. Accountable for the financial performance of a $95+ million-dollar, 195,000 square foot facility. Additional responsibilities for this specific store include the operation of a 10,000+ square foot Academy where hundreds of store, market, and regional level leaders train to become more effective leaders. This facility is one of 4 such Academies in the company that serves as a model for operational excellence for every store. This facility is subject to detailed quarterly audits to ensure that excellence in operations is being maintained and that each associate and leader sent to learn is being upskilled and able to meet these high standards in their facilities.

Supervised a 185,000 square foot facility that achieved $80 million in annual sales. Responsible for 12 direct reports and 350 hourly associates. During my time we were among the Top 5 most profitable stores in the Region of over 100 stores. Successfully promoted a Co-Manager to Store Manager, Assistant to Co-Manager, and mentored a Developmental Store Manager until he was promoted to Store Manager. Oversaw the opening of our eCommerce operation, one of the first in Illinois, that continues to perform and grow.

Supervised a 150,000 square foot facility that achieved $35 million in annual sales. Was responsible for 8 direct reports and 250 associates. During my two years sales grew by 5% and net profit increased 50%.
