Responsible for the management of the Greenville Utilities analytics office personnel and functions supporting decision-making processes regarding budgeting, capital expenditures and rate setting for the electric, water, sewer and gas enterprise funds. Core initiatives include advocating for best practices and developing methodologies for aligning capital projects to meet the business needs of the organization.Past consulting experience includes oil & gas industry client support in the areas of operations and infrastructure integrity, engineering management, as well as business strategy and planning. Primary focus included project management for infrastructure expansions, operational risk assessments and mitigation strategies, O&M reviews, regulatory support, capital & operating cost analyses, technology and design assessments, change management and organizational readiness, mergers & acquisitions transactions and due diligence support.Past utility experience includes engineering and operations sections management, project management, engineering design, pipeline capacity assessments, process improvements around mobile technologies, and regulatory compliance. He has managed a variety of gas facility enhancements, including short- and long-term upstream pipeline capacity analyses, distribution main extensions, SCADA system upgrades, industrial metering and regulating set installations, complete implementation of a SynerGEE Gas network analysis model, and the acquisition and upgrading of master metered systems. Jonathan graduated from North Carolina State University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biological Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina and certified NC Local Government Budget Officer. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the American Public Gas Association (APGA) - Research Foundation, Utilization Technology Development (UTD) and Carolinas Public Gas Association (CPGA).
