Teaching a wide variety of programs (both in-person and virtually) for both general English (student holiday learners and adult conversational classes) and special purpose classes. Special purpose classes are generally Business English, phonics for intervention, and exam preparation classes (APTIS, IELTS, PTE, etc.). The majority of classes are larger(16-20) students from diverse international backgrounds (majority Asian countries). Distance learning classes are heavily subscribed.

Responsible for delivering soft skills and Business English lessons to C-suite executives, either in one-to-one lessons, or in groups; face-to-face, or virtually. Business classes delivered in a number of settings, including short, on-the-go consultations. Also responsible for the delivery/creation of courses for English and soft skills directed at expatriates families. Will teach more traditional grammar and conversational courses on an ad-hoc basis when indicated.

Delivered phonics and pre-literacy lessons to students age 2-6. Also delivered writing and exam preparation lessons to P1-P6 students based on the Singapore syllabus. Classes took place In a tuition style setting, and were attended by both government school children and large groups of (older) international school students.

Developed the phonics materials, assessments, and teacher’s materials for centres. Responsible for planning roll out, enrolment targets and overall profitability of the two new centres. Classes delivered in a tuition style setting and marketed at a 5-12 years audience. Provide guidance on nascent assessment program for Cambridge English (Young Learners) program. Managed educational promotions, workshops, and clinics. Planned promotional materials, efforts, and teacher phonics training and assessment duties. Developed micro-sessions phonics program also developed for/ and well received as push-in style instruction for government and international schools.

English language conversational classes for groups and individual learners. Curriculum aimed at university age students to adults with differentiated levels within classes. Classes were focussing primarily on general conversation, business, speaking, and grammar.

I was responsible for adoption of English language materials, assessments, certifications, and implementation of software and/or online learning and assessment packages for private, public, and corporate customers. Primarily focussed on large, high volume schools, education partnerships, and special projects. ELT sales and local schools adoptions were priority sales, along with gathering data on efficacy of different teaching approaches and methodologies.

I was responsible for overseeing the progress and tailoring IEPs for children and young adults with learning (dyslexia) and other disabilities (ADHD, ADD).

Responsible for sales of data archiving and data protection services to corporate clients.

Consulted on investment in franchise opportunities, oversaw compliance, and conducted technical and leadership training with partners.

Developed business and new channels for online ticketing and reservation for corporate clients as well as assisting in implementation and training for partners.
