I am a recent graduate from Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business majoring in Management, with a minor in Marketing. The competitive, results-driven, and team-oriented personality I have will allow me to be an excellent leader in any industry following my graduation. I have been able to put my skills into action and acquire new skills throughout my work and school experiences, such as the following: Leadership: I held the position of President for the Gamma Tau chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi Co-Ed Professional Business Fraternity, the largest and oldest national business fraternity in the nation. I managed the whole chapter, while delegating roles to the executive board and active membership to ensure we met preordained goals. Troubleshooting: Supervising multiple departments at American Axle & Manufacturing, I consistently have to study the assembly lines, pay close attention to consistent issues, and determine how we can increase efficiency. With the knowledge I have gained, I am consistently able to collaborate with a team of individuals and find solutions that raise efficiency. I was given the opportunity to give ideas and input that resulted in safer work and increase in efficiency to 80%. Driven for Excellence: My goal is always to meet and exceed expectations. During my first internship as an HR intern, I finished what my summer project in two weeks, allowing me to delve even deeper into the proposed project and experience in other areas within the Human Resources department. Finally, while supervising at American Axle, I have set new production records three times for one assembly line and set a new standard for axle build in a shift.I am constantly looking to strengthen my network.
