Collection System CoordinatorI plan, organize, and supervise an assigned section in the Public Services Department; coordinate work activities with other sections, divisions, and departments; provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to assigned staff; and perform other duties as assigned.As the Water Resources Coordinator, I supervise a section within the Water Resources Division and I'm responsible for supervising the day-to-day functions of the section staff and workload.I operate television and inspection devices; maintain, operate, and repair collection system equipment with a strong understanding of the sanitary sewer and storm water collection system; safely perform confined space entries; develop, plan, and implement the preventative maintenance program for sewer line cleaning; work closely with City Planning and Engineering Divisions with independent contractors for the repair, rehabilitation, and replacement of the collection system; and meet with residents and commercial sewer users, contractors, and sub-dividers to discuss/resolve complaints and projects.
