When I began my career about 35 years ago, I was always motivated towards succeeding professionally, but when I took on a leadership role in 1994, I realised the importance of being a leader. And this reminds me of Warren G Bennis’ quote, “Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.” Ever since I took over the Managing Director’s role at Prestige Nursing and Care, I have envisioned a future that my team wanted to be a part of and strived to achieve the collective vision.
