I successfully managed the company’s three largest Aerospace contracts, controlling orders and projects from quotation stage and order placement, right through production and despatch using the companies ERP system.Drawing on my communication, leadership and creative problem solving skills, I worked closely with internal departments to overcome technical issues and design changes, and kept my customers informed of production milestones and delivery dates using their own online portal system.As well as regular meetings and conference calls with my customers, I chaired a monthly account review where I presented OTIF and PPM statistics and took the opportunity to resolve any issues.I carried out cost analysis on completed jobs and was responsible for sourcing all material for my customers orders, taking into consideration price and lead times.I reported to, and worked closely with, the Operations Manager to discuss workshop priorities and machine shop workloads. I also produced and displayed timing plans for repeating and high-profile orders. I confidently controlled section priorities in the Operations Managers absence.

I was responsible for sending quotations to customers including local authorities and housing associations. Quotations were followed up with emails, phone calls and letters and a high quotation conversion rate was achieved.I enjoyed building good working relationships with customers and attended regular meetings with local authorities for the benefit of both the customer and the company.I received and processed orders for quotations and dealt with sales enquiries by phone, post and email. This also involved contacting suppliers for prices and the availability of parts as well as seeking out new suppliers, several of which I negotiated with and introduced to the Stannah group as a whole.I designed and maintained several Microsoft Excel spreadsheets which went on to be used throughout the business. These provided an overview of the sales teams performance in figures and charts to help visualise the performance trends and initiate rapid changes where required.I was part of a team working on major repair and refurbishment projects with large, national companies. I used Microsoft Project and Lotus Notes to effectively plan and monitor this work.I also created a monthly team brief using Microsoft PowerPoint, held the responsibility of the branch Fire Safety Officer and collated information for the company magazine.
