Jonathan has been a State of Nebraska employee since June 2015, first serving as an Accounting Clerk at the Department of Insurance (DOI). During his early years with the department, Jonathan served as the coordinator for the DOI's Charitable Giving campaign, earning state recognition for his work in 2015 and 2016. Jonathan also served as a Wellness Champion, earning state recognition in 2016. In February 2017, Jonathan accepted the Outreach Coordinator and Regional Volunteer Representative position within the DOI's SHIP division, which provides local help for Nebraskans with Medicare. During his time in this role, Jonathan worked to cultivate and grow partnerships to better serve the State of Nebraska and expand awareness of the Nebraska SHIP. In March 2022, Jonathan was named interim-administrator of SHIP and in May 2022 he accepted the full-time position. Jonathan is proud of his work and enjoys serving the State of Nebraska in his current position.
