Jonathan quickly became an integral part of our team interacting daily with colleagues globally. Jonathan was able to easily grasp complex material but also knew when to seek additional assistance in order to reach the desired outcome on his projects. Jonathan successfully assisted with tasks such as analyzing data, document management, performing quality checks on reports and submissions prior to deployment, technical writing, and database migration activities. Additionally, Jonathan assisted with onboarding the next year’s interns prior to leaving for college. The interns were able to acclimate to our environment easily and showed confidence as they transitioned into their roles. While at Eisai, Jonathan gained a broad overview of the pharmaceutical industry including but not limited to: safety alert reporting, drug development, regulatory submissions, and analyzing guidances and regulations in order to gain a better understanding of our group’s requirements when working on a global landscape. This knowledge will serve him well as he pursues a career in engineering, giving him a look at all of the moving parts needed to bring a drug to market, while allowing him the opportunity to consider the needs of the patients. Mr. Lee truly impressed me with his outstanding communication skills and his ability to work independently. This combination of skills enabled Mr. Lee to exceed my expectations throughout the internship.
