Accountable for the Stack Sampling Operation.

• Monitors the concentration of pollutant being emitted by each source, in comparison with the Clean Air Act’s Implementing Rules and Regulation.• Undertake QA/QC test on the actual source emission testing results of sampling.• Prepare report of the QA/QC test.• Make sure that the sampling report is precise, accurate and representative.

 Act as Safety Officer and Environmental Technician to carry out inspection and audit of the industries identified based on the submitted Environmental Management Plan (EMP). A two (2) years contract to the Ministry of Environment (MOE) to perform Environmental Audit and Inspection ( EA&I) as well as stack sampling, water sampling and solid waste on identified 21 industries.Those emissions and wastewater discharges are come from the operation of Boilers, Gas Turbines, Furnaces, Incinerators, and flares of Petrochemical, Petroleum, Gas Processing, Cement, Power Plant, Steel, and Oil production. Conduct stack emission testing on stationary combustion sources with strict enforcement of US-EPA Methods 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 23 and 29. Guidelines and Procedures on Stack Sampling. Conduct recovery procedure for methods 4,5, 23 and 29. Conduct calibration of stack sampling equipment; meter console, stack sampling probe, thermocouples, weighing scale, etc. Conduct environmental monitoring activities like ambient air sampling, work environment measurement, noise monitoring and water sampling. Conduct calibration of ambient air sampler like 24-hours Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) sampler, PM-10 sampler, 1-hour High Volume Sampler. Perform data entry on the spreadsheet and check the field data if it’s filled out completely.

 Lead one of the Stack Sampling Teams of the Air Monitoring Project of the DENR-EMB (Department of Environmental and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau) under a 3-year contracted project of TEEM ( Technical Experts on Environmental Management) and TRC Solution ( US based environmental consulting firm). Conduct stack emission testing on stationary combustion sources with strict enforcement of US-EPA Methods 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 23 and 29.
