Jonathan Camp joined Aon in March 2014 as an Associate Partner in the Investment Consulting line of business. Aon's Investment Consulting business assists clients who wish to enhance the efficiency and overall return of their investments while reducing a variety of risks and administrative burdens. By doing this, Aon Hewitt has created a customized product and experience that can appeal to public and private clients from all sectors and geographic regions.Jonathan consulted with institutional clients, focusing primarily on pension plan assets and defined contribution plans. For defined benefit plans, by leveraging his prior experience as a retirement actuary, Jonathan was able to create highly customized interest rate hedging strategies that are primarily aimed at decreasing risk surplus levels as the plan's funded status improves. For defined contribution plans, Jonathan was able to use Aon's intellectual capital to assist a client's workforce in achieving a meaningful retirement income.In addition to client service responsibilities, Jonathan was a content developer and the primary Investment Consulting liaison for Aon's proprietary online risk analysis tool, Risk Analyzer.Prior to joining the client service team, Jonathan was the Monitoring and Performance Operations Manager for the Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) business. Jonathan managed the daily monitoring of assets/liabilities and the quarterly performance for the entire client base. Included in those responsibilities was managing the teams responsible for producing the daily/weekly/quarterly reports, signing off on daily asset and liability measures, communicating the results to the client teams and assisting client teams present the information effectively to the clients.
