Arrived on Islay in May 1997 working as a time served joiner until I joined Bruichladdich in January 2001. Worked in production for one year as a mashman before being seconded back to the tools to convert one of our warehouses into the current day bottling hall which I moved to in 2003 as bottling hall supervisor. Since then worked my way up through assistant manager and finally bottling production manager, overseeing the management of all bottling production at Bruichladdich of our premium Islay Single Malts brands and The Botanist Islay Dry Gin.In my spare time I'm an avid Manchester City supporter regularly travelling across the border supporting my beloved blues, and can also be found in the long grass at the Machrie golf course looking for my wayward drives!
