• Promoted to Lead Development Chemist to take some of the project management responsibility away from the Technical Manager along with supervisory responsibilities of Development Chemists• Selected to be part of the Fast Track program 2014-2015 within Worldmark which aims to “identify people who are currently employed by Worldmark and who are considered to have potential to develop further in their careers”• Developing and designing custom labels for many large international electronics companies, including branding and security solutions• Part of the Emerging Technology Team (ETT) which looks into new and innovative technologies and seeks to incorporate some of these into Worldmark’s product portfolio• Engaging with customers through all stages of product development• Working with high profile companies in the consumer electronics industry and having to adhere to strict NDA protocol• Presenting results in many different formats including technical reports and verbal presentations• Effective time management skills to complete multiple projects to a high degree of accuracy and efficiency• Motivated to learn and develop, as shown through attending training sessions for Adobe Illustrator, a colour theory course and attending first aid training sessions• Ability to manage many projects at the development stages through to initial manufacturing runs• Experienced in many areas of the printing trade, including flexographic, screen and digital printing• Good understanding and knowledge of computer programs and machines such as the Zund, CO¬2 laser and YAG laser• Worked within specific guidelines and continually demonstrates high standards to reproduce consistent high quality samples to meet GLP• Showed leadership by training colleagues in how to use equipment effectively, efficiently and safely• Spent a total of 4 months in Taiwan as part of a company policy to support business strategies around the world
