Clinical Research Scientist
Current• Organizes DeRoyal’s clinical research initiative to promote scientific research aimed at improving patient care and reducing health care costs• Designs, implements, and manages basic and clinical research projects to demonstrate efficacy and safety of DeRoyal’s advanced medical technology in collaboration with DeRoyal customers interested in clinical research• Authors technical clinical evaluation reports for company products that conform to European Commissions Guideline MEDDEV 2.7.1• Acquired knowledge through extensive literature searches to become a subject matter expert for DeRoyal Advanced Wound Care, Patient Care, and Acute Care lines• Communicates clinical and scientific research findings to international key opinion leaders to facilitate acceptance of DeRoyal products in the international market• Supports marketing and sales teams by generating white papers and technical reports that describe DeRoyal technology and its advantages based on scientific and clinical evidence• Assists design teams in identifying necessary design inputs and risks for new products based on comprehensive literature reviews• Applies clinical and technical knowledge to assist in evaluations of new technology considered for acquisition
