Re-joined GEICO's Digital Sales team with a focus on implementing A/B tests that re-imagine critical junctures in GEICO's customer-facing online sales application for auto insurance quotes, such as the quote reveal juncture. Working on implementing personalized content that meet the needs of different customer personas, as well as radically different page designs challenging longstanding assumptions about our customers and incorporating feedback from user testing. Highly involved in the product design process providing not only technical input, but also business knowledge and UX input. Resumed prior senior developer roles of mentoring junior developers, providing office hours, picking up code reviews, and hosting sync-up meetings for front-end developers across the department on a monthly basis. Participating in the interview process for hiring new front-end engineers and collaborating with management on strategies for improving the department's front-end developer bench.

Joined GEICO's newly minted Voice team within the Mobile Apps division as the sole developer to rewrite GEICO's Alexa and Google Assistant offerings with a focus on improving response-time performance. Convinced management to move from a screen-scraping solution for policy-related transactions (such checking the status of an open claim or reviewing the appointment time of an auto damage inspection) to a technical solution based on consuming GEICO's existing production REST web services in combination with a Redis cache. Response times were reduced from 40-60 seconds fulfilling a policy-related transaction intent to near-instant, user-perceived response times for both voice platforms.

Joined the Digital Sales team at GEICO to help modernize GEICO's customer-facing internet sales application. Aside from rolling out and providing production support for the new application, focused on brainstorming and implementing uniquely mobile designs optimized for our rapidly growing segment of smartphone users. Architected the technical design for converting GEICO's standard web form for online quotes into a question-by-question, engaging conversational flow that allowed for re-using existing business logic and quick, low-risk implementation across the entire application. This technical framework is still used in production today, proving to be highly robust and extremely successful in increasing conversion in GEICO's online channel.
