Handle duties to provide service to oil and gas operators clients in outsourcing revenue and production accounting, including;Communicating effectively and regularly to maintain clear understanding of client’s needs and provide status of work.Recording of client’s monthly oil and gas revenue and/or production using Excalibur or BOLO software.Utilizing said software to distribute oil and gas sales to lease owners.Coordinating with Land department to verify that the revenue distributed to owners is correct based on the land records they have on file.Coordinating with Regulatory department to verify that taxes calculated and distributed through the revenue process match what is calculated, filed, and paid to regulatory agencies.Coordinating with the Treasury department to have revenue payments mailed.Providing monthly reports to clients to provide detail of the month’s revenue close, and any adjustments or journal entries that may be needed as part of their process.Communicating with client’s leaseholders when they have inquiries, and correcting issues as needed.Providing analysis of processes and problem-solving for client’s various needs.Providing reconciliations of revenue accounts on a monthly basis, including revenue clearing, revenue suspense, and revenue payable.Creating and filing state and federal production regulatory reports to the designated agencies, such as the Texas Railroad Commission, New Mexico Oil and Conservation Division, ONRR, etc., etc.Provide assistance within department to complete deadlines as needed, as well as communicate ideas to strengthen or implement processes.Any other duties as required by the revenue/production manager.
