Dr. Charry has 25 years of experience in business and corporate development, advanced technology development and applied sciences as well as corporate strategic planning. He is currently Senior Managing Director, NewEnergy Global, an international business development consulting firm, and former Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, ManattJones Global Strategies. Prior to joining ManattJones, he was Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, for NCT Group, Inc. and its subsidiary Artera Group, Inc., where he implemented a strategic relationship with Avaya Inc. using optimization software for Avaya’s IP Migration initiative for high speed data communications, and converged voice and data systems. Dr. Charry also served as Chairman and CEO of Digital Power Networks Inc., a development stage company with advanced information technology capabilities for the electric power industry. He led the company into strategic joint ventures with General Electric GE Prolec division and Asea Brown Boveri, and established research and development partnerships with North American and European electric power companies. He has held faculty positions at New York University and The Rockefeller University. He received his A.B. from Tufts University in 1970 and his Ph.D. from New York University in 1976.
