CADF is an organization that is central to the fight against doping in cycling. CADF is mandated by the UCI to define and implement rider testing strategy, ensure the proper operation and continuous improvement of the biological passport programme and create athlete educational programmes.As Doping Control Officer I am responsible for the management of the doping control process at UCI accredited races. I communicate directly with race organisers and instruct them about the requirements for Doping Control ensuring the set-up is complete when I arrive at the race. I attend race management meetings and provide training to the assigned doctor, nurse and chaperones on their roles and responsibilities. I ensure they are ready for the notification and sample collection process. Post sample collection I arrange online reports and sample transport. I have an expert understanding of CADF anti-doping rules and regulations.

UKAD is the national organisation dedicated to protecting the culture of clean sport. Every day, we are raising awareness of the issues through our extensive education and smart testing programme. We help athletes to understand and follow the rules, and prosecute offenders.As Doping Control Officer for UKAD I am responsible for the notification of athletes prior to a drug test and the completion of sample collection. Responsibilities include notifying athletes of their rights/responsibilities ensuring all relevant documentation is completed accurately. I also train new members of staff on procedures and undertake training sessions both in the classroom and at sporting events.

Olympic Park & Aquatics Centre

I worked as Chaperone Team Leader for London 2012 Anti-Doping managing a team of 50 doping control chaperones during the Olympic Games at the Aquatics Centre. This role involved allocations of tests, overseeing athlete notifications pool side and delegating priorities between anti-doping work force, media and officials. I also helped with administrative tasks such as uploading information into ADAMS (anti-doping administration and management system) and transport of samples with couriers.
