Based on my prior experience with Project Development work in Transgrid, I was seconded by the Project Development team to assist in the development of cost estimates, project feasibility studies for Transgrid’s Revenue Reset Proposal (RP3), and management of the Asset Replacement Strategy (ARS) stream. Control, Automation & Protection Design GroupI was engaged by Secondary Design team to assist in completing protection, control, and automation work for various solar farm connections and secondary system upgrades.Some noticeable achievements include:• Completed Protection Relay Notification Forms (RNFs) for Wellington North Solar Farm• Completed control designs including panels, schematics, and connections for Wellington North Solar Farm• Completed Protection Relay Instructions (RTIs) for Ingleburn Secondary Systems Renewal and multiple setting change requests for DNSPs (Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, and Essential Energy)

Infrastructure Delivery - Substation & CommsProject Manager for various multi-million dollar projects including transformer, secondary systems, and reactor projects. Control & Automation Design GroupI was seconded by Secondary Design team to assist in the development of a remote 4G SCADA system and integration of the IEC-61850 standard into our existing secondary systems infrastructure.In this role, my responsibilities include:• Assisting Transgrid Control & Automation Design team in the development of the new TransGrid standard for Substation Automation Systems utilising IEC-61850 Station Bus protocol, as well as the development of a new Substation Control LAN using HSR and PRP networking protocols• Development and integration of Zenon HMI – Industrial Automation Software for the transition into digital substations• Using Bentley Microstation for the design of panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagramsAchievements:• Commissioned a pair of 4G remote SCADA system test kits for remote testing. These kits allowed site technicians to complete remote SCADA testing at Collector Wind Farm, achieving project efficiencies of $200k and a time reduction of 2 months• Successful integration of Zenon HMI with a new Substation Control LAN using IEC-61850 standard• Completed the panel layouts, schematics, and cable schedules for the integration of an Under Voltage Load Shed scheme at Parkes Substation

Network Planning and Operations TeamIn this role, my responsibilities include:• Developing projects by coordinating with Design, Procurement, Works Delivery, and external consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.• Assisting Senior Project Managers and Program Managers with project scheduling, forecast, budgets, and outage plans.• Assisting in the scope definition and decision-making to achieve project objectives.• Facilitating Safety in Design (SID) workshops and progress meetings to identify project risks and assign appropriate mitigation measures in line with the approved Safety in Design framework.Achievements:• Assisted with the scheduling for major projects including HumeLink and VIC-NSW Interconnector (VNI).• Assisted with outage planning for major projects including QLD-NSW Interconnector (QNI) and various secondary systems, asset replacement, and substation renewal programs.• Managing various projects including telecommunications, secondary systems renewals, transformers, capacitors, and reactors ranging from $150k to $10M.• Successful coordination and development of various NCIPAP and Prescribed Projects.
