Moved to Sydney, primarily to take up a secondment role with a client who specialises in dementia care. Continued assisting architects on projects within the aged care / retirement living sector, valued between $6M and $150M, primarily within concept design and design development.

Brisbane, Australia

Continued responsibilities from last two years as student: involved in sketch design and masterplanning in Aged Care / Retirement Living sector. Key project involved the design and management of an accessibility housing project from sketch design to tender. Also involved in organising internal design meetings ('Cogitatios'), co-ordinating social media content for BM across multiple platforms, and developing submissions and presentations.

I worked closely with architectural team leaders to execute a wide variety of deliverables throughout the extent of the project lifecycle (from sketch design to contract administration) on a range of Aged Care and Education projects. During these four years, I also studied my Masters part time at the University of Queensland.

Key task involved developing a 'Design Standards' package that centralises design and property information of all HammondCare facilities for briefing external consultants, and a Post-Occupancy Evaluation framework for formal collation of experiences, stories and improvement opportunities on new sites. Additional tasks include administrative items (invoicing, agendas, minutes at meetings) and developing other project controls including project gateway documents.

Co-owned and operated an 8 metre high inflatable slide that was hired out for events and parties.

Wrote a thesis on 'Student Perceptions on Nightingale Housing' (2017). Finalist for the Philip Y Bisset Scholarship (2018) proposing.
