With a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of British Columbia, I have pursued a career in fire safety and hazardous materials management. For the past five years, I have been working as a Firefighter at Coldstream Fire Department, where I respond to emergencies, perform rescue operations, and provide medical assistance. I have also completed a five-year contract as a Tolko Firewatch at Tolko Industries, where I monitored and reported on the fire hazards and risks in the industrial site. I have developed skills in hazardous materials management, reporting and analysis, and communication, as well as a strong sense of teamwork, responsibility, and integrity. I am passionate about protecting people and the environment from fire and chemical threats, and I am always eager to learn new techniques and technologies in my field.
