Performed design work on a prototype integrated motor-inverter using 3D design tools.Produced a comprehensive motor DFMEA that identified and quantified the hazards of the design stage and enabled mitigation of the risks before they could cause harm to either project or person, becoming the knowledge expert on the design risks of the motor within the team.Successfully resolved an internal team conflict by showing initiative, summarising each teams’ suggested design into a concise presentation and delivering this to senior stakeholders, allowing the deadlock to be broken.Mapped out the tasks and dependencies required to successfully deliver the project in a Gantt chart format, allocating team members to each task and delivering this to the Project Manager.

Performed quality control on images captured by the field teams.

Designing, building and testing over 30 bespoke electric motors with a combined worth of over a million pounds.Designed a new program to streamline the electrical design process which is still in use within the team 5 years on.

10 week internship modelling electric motor components on PTC Creo Parametric 3D CAD software. Gained an understanding in the processes involved in manufacturing and the operation of electric motors.

10 week internship performing a feasibility study for the implementation of a large-scale sculpture in the East Anglia region. This project involved aspects of civil engineering, CAD design, and environmental impact assessments.

Worked for a year on Menswear, followed by 6 months on the Customer Service Desk.Learnt the ability to mediate between potentially unhappy customers whilst asserting the rules and practices of the company, in a manner that satisfies both parties.

Hosted by BP, this 6 month project involved working in a team to assess the “Feasibility of Converting an Offshore Oil Platform into a Geothermal Plant”. After looking at the possibilities, a report was assembled detailing the feasiblity. Upon completion of the project, gained the Gold CREST award.
