• Managed three clusters of organisations (global coalitions of NGOs, organisations working for the reduction of domestic violence and students) – responsible for sign-ups of new coalition members celebrating Peace Day and production of resources to be shared with partners• Developed and strengthened relationships with key partners such as Interpeace, International Alert, the IRC, Search for Common Ground and Save the Children. Developed a fruitful partnership with the African Union in the framework of Peace One Day’s three year campaign in the Great Lakes region of Africa• Drafted policy papers and partnership proposals, including for cooperation with the FCO• Designed the measurement strategy of the organisation in collaboration with McKinsey & Co. – led on data collection for the 2013 and 2014 impact assessment reports• Collaborated closely with UN agencies to ensure the UN International Day of Peace is marked worldwide• Conducted the external communication strategy of the organisation through mail outs/newsletters• Played a key role in organising a series of conferences across the Great Lakes region of Africa and went on field trips to Rwanda, DRC, Kenya and Uganda to engage with local stakeholders• Designated spokesperson for the organisation including leading Peace One Day at a major peace festival in Las Palmas in 2014• Lobbied government figures and parliamentarians in several countries to honour their commitment to marking the UN International Day of Peace

• Raised funds for the party• Organised various events initiated by the party, including flagship event ‘Marxism’, a five-day festival of debate featuring some of the most important thinkers on the international left• Coordinated all SWP activity in Central London, liaising between central office and party members in the district; headed up party presence in political activity in the area, especially in relation to Trade Unions and campaign groups as Director of Campaigns for Central London
