Jonathan Collings is the founder of Alesia Communications (formerly Collings & Monney), the specialist agency that combines tremendous experience in renewable energy, marine and the broader power industry with outstanding PR and marketing skills.

As Founder and Head of clients services, I am in charge of delivering all the PR and marketing services to our clients and managing our team of freelancers. I also manage all the marketing done for Collings & Monney itself, as well as the administration of the company. In short, I manage everything, except the actual selling which is handled by the head of accounts.

I was in charge of all the marketing activities for the RES group, and I also managed the marketing for other renewable energy companies within the RES Group including PV Systems, Wood Energy, Future Heating, and Solar Slate Ltd. During this time, I handled the marketing and communication strategy development for Inbuilt, a reputed energy management and low carbon consultancy firm. I sat on the EWEA exhibitor’s council for a number of years, and was a former board member of the South African Wind Energy Association on behalf of RES. I was managing a team of dedicated marketing professionals during my time there.

Working at the European Wind Energy Association in Brussels, I gained, as marketing manager, a special insight into the work of our industry trade bodies worldwide. I was on the organisation team of the EWEA annual and offshore events, as well as sales manager for the magazine Wind Directions. I was also in charge of recruiting new members for the organisation.
