After 12 years as a vicar and area dean in Southend on Sea I have moved to Cambridge for family reasons and am looking for a post. I am a trustee of a number of ecumenical and inter-faith charities, with experience of administration and steering through new governing documents. In my past parish I built up the numbers of those attending and the occasional offices, broadened the congregation to make it more representative of the parish, created links with local schools, formed a twinning with a Swedish parish, trained two curates, hosted Romanian Orthodox theological students, and oversaw a restoration of the church and the hall. I also ensured that the finances became stable and reserves established.
