I am a Case Director in the FRC’s Corporate Reporting Review team. CRR has responsibility for ensuring that public and large private companies comply with relevant financial reporting requirements.Prior to moving to the FRC at the end of 2020, I spent almost 14 years in BDO's specialist technical accounting group, providing advice to engagement teams on a range of technical accounting, company law and narrative reporting matters as well as reviewing the financial statements of AIM and fully-listed companies. I started my career with 7½ years at KPMG, initially in a middle-market audit department and, from March 2005, in their technical accounting group.Specialties:IFRS and UK GAAPCorporate governance and other narrative reportingCompany Law relevant to the preparation of company accounts
