As the Career Director for the College of Liberal Arts at the University of New Hampshire, my focus extends beyond traditional career services. I champion strategic initiatives that infuse experiential learning into the curriculum; I foster diversity, equity, and inclusion through committee service, fundraising, and staff training; and I elevate on-campus employment through skill building programs. From spearheading credit-bearing career courses to instituting a career advising training program for employees, I am dedicated to creating a supportive community that empowers students and bridges the gap between academia and the professional world.In addition to my administrative experience, I designed and teach career exploration and readiness courses, such as "Pathfinder: Career Exploration and Planning for Liberal Arts Majors" and "Hired: A Career Boot Camp for Liberal Arts Majors." As an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Education, I teach the "Careers in Education" course, offering students a comprehensive exploration of professional opportunities in the education sector.Beyond my professional pursuits, I am also a PhD student in the Department of Education at the University of New Hampshire. My research focuses on career development support in post-secondary education. Additionally, I serve on the executive board for the Vermont / New Hampshire Career Development Association.
