As a teenager, I became a caregiver out of necessity, for my mother. I know what it's like to not be able to afford basic necessities. (In my mother's honor, Good Green Moving provides discounted and volunteer services for single mothers, senior citizens, and low-income families.) I've also been a lifelong volunteer for environmental causes. With my background, it's no accident that I developed a proprietary business model based in caregiving and compassion. Good Green Moving takes pride in the fact that this is the foundation of how we treat both our customers and the planet.My background in caregiving and environmental advocacy gives me the unique ability to transform the process of moving -- one of the top 5 most difficult experiences people report--from painful to positive. I take this so seriously that I lead monthly meetings with my staff to discuss caregiving, and how we can continue to apply it to our work.I am proud to run a company that moves both people and the environment to a better future. As passionate protectors of the environment, we constantly research the most sustainable ways to transport and protect your furniture and possessions.
