Industrial/Plumbing Applications Engineer I work alongside regional sales managers and reps to handle the industrial piping and plumbing technical. I maintain technical relationships with Engineers, Architects, and Contractors as well as local chapters of professional organizations in effort to be an educational resource and a brand ambassador in the territory. I assist through specification reviews, installation training, product capability overviews, providing CEU Accredited courses, installation/product failure reviews, and generally doing my best to answer what questions come my way completely and truthfully.

Transmission insulation product expert and transmission insulation new product design.I take customer/project specifications and provide market-targeted product optimization to meet/exceed customer expectations while lowering lead time and cost.I also generate/manage applications and software to minimize the amount of wasted engineering hours on menial tasks and increase the overall efficiency and turn-around time of our department.My daily goals are to better serve our customers, ensure that engineers are working on the highest value-add projects, and secure sales by providing the best possible solution for all parties.

Personal Responsibilities Include:- Developing and writing quotes and scopes of work.- First line engineering contact for clients. Contact with client maintained throughout the project to insure all designs adequately fulfill the building requirements.- Designing, calculating, verifying and drafting custom frames, risers, and stands to assist the equipment in resisting imparted loads from wind, seismic, and thermal expansion.- Process optimization through developing software applications, templates, and programs to assist in the engineering design process.

Developed PME blueprints and design for multiple permutations of residential and commercial buildings as well as water/power use profiles and return on investment for each facet of each permutation (appliances, construction materials, solar panels, and system as a whole).The different designs used were: current best practice, LEED based designs, LEED based designs using Apple Blossom insulation, and Zero Net Energy LEED based design using Apple Blossom Insulation.
