Ensuring the following is adhered to:• The Undertaking of practical trade orientated work appropriate to my skills and experience.• Able to Read and interpret information from plans and specifications accurately to completing the finished project.• To undertake, as and when required, joinery work associated with major and minor property work. Loft Conversions & Fitting kitchens.• To repair and maintain doors, door frames, windows etc.• To undertake all joinery work as necessary in the maintenance of flooring, roofing, ceilings and measure, miter, cut and fit skirting board.• To construct as and when required cupboards, shelving, fencing, carcassing, simple formwork and pitched erection of roof trusses and flat roofing construction etc.• Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation and the Companies Codes of Practice.• Ensuring that all necessary paper work in assisting with Invoicing is completed and returned to the appropriate administrative office in accordance with established procedures for billing to customer(s).• To provide a service to clients and maintain a good customer relationship as a priority.• To act at all times as a professional representative of the company and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied.• To report customers comments for improvement to the company’s performance.• To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.• To co-operate with the company in complying with relevant health and safety legislation, policies and procedures in the performance of my duties.• To understand and comply with the Companies environmental policies.

Assigned to Dave Newton Joinery Services, Redcar for a 3 year formal Carpentry & Joinery Apprenticeship. Trained in the following:• Installation of first fixing components including: door/window frames and linings, floor joist coverings, partitions, plasterboard and staircases. • Installation of second fixing components including: doors, mouldings, ironmongery, wall/floor units and cladding. • Trained to read and extract information from drawings and specifications, conform to general workplace safety guidelines, security and waste management controls. • Learned how to install / erect complex structural carcassing such as inclined roofs, hips and valleys, roof verge, eaves finishes, dormers, floor joists, and floor coverings. .
