Centreline flies to over 250 different airports a year from Heathrow and Manchester through to small airfields such as Cannes and Chambery. As such it provides variety and stretch for crews. High flexibility is required as missions change constantly, even mid-flight.The role is also extremely varied, responsible for all aspects of aircraft operations from planning and completing load sheets, liaising with flight planners on route decisions, aircraft maintenance down-route through to broker and passenger liaison. We can get involved in all aspects of the passenger journey, arranging transportation and all manner of special requests (e.g. decorating the cabin for a wedding party through to obtaining special foods / treats). Our role involves a lot of direct passenger contact and requires the confidence to communicate effectively with the rich and famous. Diplomacy and interpersonal skills are frequently required, for example when weather means that the first choice of destination is not available and when slot delays are encountered.
