A Subsea Mux Engineer (Subsea ET), born 1985 in the UK. I hold dual citizenship between the UK and Australia and currently live in Asia. A qualified electrician who started working offshore in 2011.Beginning said offshore time as an ROV Pilot Technician and progressing through the levels to Sr Pilot Tech, I gained broad experience by working on various ROV systems on many different phases of projects. I was also able to diversify when working for Total Marine Technology as they offered a Well Intervention package which was hugely successful when utilised on Shell's Prelude project.This riser-less intervention BOP package provided me with a great introduction to BOPs, that would give me the valuable experience required to join Stena Drilling as a MUX Engineer in 2018.The ability to build on the platform of skills that I had gained thus far, continuing development and the added responsibility with this role is excellent because those are elements that I hold in high regard when concerning job satisfaction. My career highlights over the past 10+ years are, my selection to attend Oceaneering's LEAAP (Leadership and Continuous Improvement Course) and the success in being accepted to join the Stena Drilling team in my current position.
